Discipleship Ministry

We believe that one of the primary reasons God has called us into gospel community is to help one another grow in our love for God and people. This is also why the Discipleship Ministry exists - to help each person connected with FBC Tampa take the next step of his or her journey of faith as we seek to not only grow deeper but to serve more passionately. New Members Class & Spiritual Gift Assessment

If you are interested in joining FBC Tampa you might want to attend our membership course called, Thriving Together. This four-hour course explains our vision, purpose, and basic beliefs. New members are required to complete this course. We also offer a two-hour course explaining what spiritual gifts are and offering a way to help you define yours. Registration is required to participate in either of these course.

Conferences

In addition to the opportunities to grow provided in our church, we also want to help people take advantage of the numerous quality conference opportunities in our region such as FamilyLife marriage conferences, the Passion conference for college students, Ligionier conferences, Answers in Genesis, Promise Keepers, and Women of Faith. Church Library

Our library is the home for about 1,000 books that can be borrowed for up to four weeks at a time. Books that will encourage you and help you grow are available for adults, teens, and children. You can view the library's content online or stop by and visit the library on the first floor adjacent to the Dining Room on Sundays from 8:30-9:15 a.m. and Wednesdays from 5:00-6:15 p.m.
