College Students and Young Adults

More than two-thirds of Christian students who are between the ages of 18-22 walk away from the church and, statistically speaking, they will not return again until they are in their mid-30’s with families and careers. Something needs to be done to turn this tide and stop the fallout. The College and Young Adult Ministry recognizes the importance of this task and accepts this challenge using the ministry model of 1 Timothy 1:5, “The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.” We define that love and that charge as elevating the work of Christ to young adults. We believe that relationship and community are necessary to equip believers for the work of ministry and to reach young adults who do not have a relationship with Jesus.
